making cs with lights

a while ago i made a set for a magic mouse including sign and i lost it all when my computer crashed and i lost it so my plan is to make it again but is there a way i can make it illuminated

Use SIEmissiveMask
That will make them lighter

ok where doi i get that and will that give me flashing lights on say the magic mouse sign im making

SIEmissiveMask has nothing to do with lights or lightanimations. This texture setting is for creating text.

Here is a tutorial I made some time ago. It explains how to create animated lights:

have you got the download of the light caps you used ill have a go at trying this
